Malcolm

It’s okay Malcolm, if you want to cry.
I’m so scared.
Tell me, Malcolm, what makes you feel so afraid?
I see colours, following me.
Now Malcolm, I am here to help, tell me what things?
I can’t, you’ll think I am . . .
Here’s a tissue, Malcolm. I understand. I am here to help.
Do you? I think you are one of THEM!
Don’t shout, Malcolm, we are all the same.
No, we’re not, you’re weird.
Malcolm, you are the one who is different.
SEE! am I the only one?
Please Malcolm, join us, be an umbrella person.

I wonder why Malcom fears being an umbrella person. Intriguing little conversation that left me wanting to know more.

  12. Poor Malcolm. He has not found someone to help him at all. Great conversation giving indications of the characters and power in this relationship.

  14. This feels kind of creepy – the umbrella people. For some reason I’m picturing them as some sort of Dr Who-style automatons, and Malcolm could be next 🙂

  15. Colors following.. umbrella person.
Isn’t the fear real for the people who feel it? For rest it’s different level of craziness.. ready to label.

  21. Malcom is on the cusp of discovering a world where everyone is prepared for the rain at all times and blows 300 feet down the road with every gust of wind. Haha great story man! Super creative take
