Spectacles for Every Occasion
Certainly, sir.
We have a range of paranormal spectacles.
Yes, our mood range. The rose lens lets you view the world in eternal, euphoric happiness. Our blue ones present a cynical world of bitterness and grievance. Apparently, they are very popular with politicians.
Our nostalgic glasses will let you wallow in a mud pool of missed opportunities and shameful regrets. However, this monocle will swell you with pride as you relive achievements and insurmountable success at the expense of others.
These, in cotton wool to avoid distortion, give a view of our future.
You may not like what you see.
A lovely allegory

If I had to choose, I’d certainly opt for the rose-colored glasses 🙂

Cool idea! I’m not sure which ones I’d prefer. I wonder what would happen if one looked through all of them at once? 🙂

In which case you would focused on the present day.

Lovely imaginative allegory. All human failings revealed by the right pair of specs!

I think I’ll go for two monocles, one for each eye!

I am told the lens for each can be refined for different times of the day. Does that help. thanks for reading my weird ideas.

I love the idea of these different glasses, most imaginative and understated. Nicely done.

Loved your story of Mr Frog on his penny farthing. (I try, but my comments don’t get accepted on your site ) Thank you.

What a great, imaginative story! I’m torn between the rose coloured and the future glasses. Maybe both, I don’t have to wear them at the same time and all the time, do I?

I would advise to wear only one pair at any one time to avoid confusion. You may be interested in our range of pessimist and optimist lens, these can be finely ground to suit your degree of attitude to the world around you. Please be advised our glasses are not available from any other optician.

Cool. I have to admit, I would love to try a couple of those out. Promise to return them when I’m done!

Such a clever and entertaining spin on the prompt image, James. The woolly ones have me a little nervous, but…
